1. I think that is it good that they are making the rules on plagiarism so enforced. People should not be copying peoples' work. It's wrong. You can't take credit for someone else's work. I think that they should maybe have a warning first, depending on how bad it is, but then they are allowed to prove themselves, i think that they could be young and need to realize that they need to do their own work.
in other words, i guess they are just ensuring the students to not plagarize, and when they are given these harsh penalties, they realize that the schools aren't messing around, and in all actuality that they are being serious.

i agree with you 100% i dont like that people get credit for someone elses work it seems very unfair. also being college students they should know better
I agree plagiarims is not acceptable and rules should be enforced but after reading a few articles I do not agree with the Universitys action. These students were not taking scientific quotes and not crediting someone. The were ariting a little movie review and got in trouble for using simple everyday language. It's a really unfortunate situation.
You are right! You can't give someone credit for somebody's else work!stundets should be more aware what they doing.
I agree also, it's not okay to us someones hard work and make it your. But the way and price the boys paid I feel was a bit much
